Furniture and Décor for 2026: Spaces with Intention
An editorial selection for 2026, bringing warm textures, flexible layouts and furniture with a useful life into the same conversation.

The design perspective
A room does not need an entirely new collection of furniture each season to feel current. Our starting point for 2026 is its everyday use: where people sit, which surfaces receive the most wear, and where daylight falls. Warm timber, matt finishes and tactile upholstery offer one considered response. We present these as compatible design choices, rather than a universal forecast or a rule that every interior should follow.
In everyday use
A round table can soften a conversation corner, while a chair on slender metal legs can balance a visually heavy arrangement. Appearance still needs to work with stability and comfort. Before buying something new, consider repairing a piece, changing its upholstery or moving it to another room. Look at material samples in daylight and under evening lighting. A thoughtful interior earns its character through regular use, rather than through a single carefully styled photograph.
